Taxi Trapani airport (called Birgi too), due to its geographic location and its technical feautures, is practical, reiable and able to offer a custom service. Moreover, beeing also a military airport opened at civilian traffic, there are not limitations or restrictions.
For many years the Irish air company Ryinair have been choosing this airport as point for its activities and every year hundreds of thousands of nothern and central European Tourists can reach the most important west sicilian locations (as San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, le Isole Egadi, Marsala, Castellammare del Golfo, the Natural Reserve of Zingaro) easily and at low rates.
Thanks to A29 motorway Palermo – Trapani – Mazara del Vallo, Birgi airport is integrated to the road infrastructure, allowing to arrive in Palermo, Trapani or Agrigento with no particular difficulties.
